     activities surrounding Enron Corp. Dynegy has announced that it has

     terminated the merger transaction. In regard to Northern Natural Gas

     Company, all pipeline bu siness and related activities will

     continue in the ordinary course of business. The pipeline will continue

     to operate pursuant to its service agreements and tariff. As you know,

     Northern Natural transports natural gas on behalf of its shippe rs

     and is not the supplier of the gas. Northern will cont

     inue to transport the gas received from suppliers for deliveries

     to the customers. Northern Natural, as the pipeline entity, continues
